I'm trying WINS in the absence of WCBS880. I need steady info on the weather. especially, since wind speed and velocity; snow and rain cautions apply especially to someone less capable of navigating the elements safely. Please, Audacy, think of us too; there are more and more of us as the population ages.

Have to put this word of commendation in as a followup to my earlier "complaint" of the ultra speedy speeches of the Matt Rindys and Jeff Jensens. They seem to have slowed their speeches as compared to how we perceive it now. That's positive. We're used to the more leisurely presentations at the public radio stations. Having had taken speech classes in college, we are aware of how fast human brain can process speeches. So, perhaps you folks have lots to give, and hence their speedy words, which is not so positive. An idea - you do traffic/transit and weather every 10 minutes or so. How about every 15? so you won't have to "stuff" too many words into a small bottle, but instead a looser bag? Thanks.

I listened to 1010 when you were a rock and roll station. When you went over to all news, I was interviewed by your reporter Stan Z Burns. But when I moved to Connecticut, your station is very faint and sometimes not available at all. So we listened to WCBS.
Now that WCBS is gone, please re-aim your transmitter so we can hear your station in Danbury Connecticut. It comes in weakly, while WCBS was strong.
Also - your slogan is "Give us 20 minutes, we'll give you the world". Not true. I'd be listening for over one hour and you NEVER gave the sports scores, even on the update at the beginning of the hour.

AM has to be included on each and all cellular "smart" phones due to 1010 wins up to minute weather and traffic. Its something WE all must accomplish then we could get back to locals featured weekly discussing our situation.
