PLEASE! Please stop repeating the same news all night and all day. There has to be more news happening during my eight hour shift at work. Why does this station repeat over and over?

Great that we've observed the speed of the reporters have improved much. Slower-paced, and we enjoy it better now. We were chatting. Perhaps they have tooooo much to report, hence the speediness. Well, they do traffic and weather EVERY 10 minutes, which = 6 times/Hr. We think weather doesn't change THAT fast. Say 4 times/hr., that'd yield more times for healthier speaking? Thanks, WINS. We no longer have CBS 880, so we're depending on the only best AM News Radio now, WINS 1010.

It is GREAT to hear Wayne Cabot back! Also others from WCBS like Marla Diamond and Mac Rosenberg. Do you have Paul Murnane also? Bring back the rest also, we miss them all.

Update to my earlier comment regarding the quality of presentation, on a particular aspect - speed of their talking. Several we commented they were tooooooo speedy, specifically Messrs. Rindy and Jensen (estimated spelling). so fast that it's hard at times to absorb and digest the weather and traffic reports. Lately, we noted that their speech has sloooowed down. It's sloooower and more is absorbed from this end. However, from my college days' speech class learning, I believe (asking more now!) another 10-20% slower will be perfect for us. Right now, the words are more digestible. Better listening even is coming we wish. Oh, other reporters in general are good also. We listen to NPR radio also, and somehow we think their presentation speed is much more at ease...... Well, thank you to 'em all anyway.
