All the old Detroiters showing lover here forget WLLZ was 98.7 back in its heyday not 106.9. It was an epic time to be a teenage Detroiter in the 80s while WLLZ and WRIF went head to head. Wheelz had a younger cooler feel to it.

They play off the.backs of WCSX. Ain't nothing Original what the play, unless you Ozzy Fan, it's R&R, means Repeat and Repeat. Very Lame Station. Actually BORING

I have listening to this station from the very beginning. August of 1980 when it started commercial free all music. I was 16 years old and I’m now 58 and still listen to them now. I now live in Las Vegas I listen to then everyday through I Heart radio. Ty to all the DJ’s including Doug Podell!!!
