I just can’t see this signing of McCutchen. Am I missing something? We sign a 38 year old that can’t play every day and only batted .232 last year. I just don’t get it but I can understand why the Pirates end up where they do.

Not sure how many people noticed this, but after the game yesterday, Craig Hayward was on the sideline with his arm wrapped around George Pickens looking like they were having a serious discussion. So perhaps someone on the team is stepping up to try to control this young man.
