There was a DJ at KDHX who used to play an hour of Rockabilly weekdays. I bring this up because your Americana Radio Station can give St. Louis what we have never had before. A mostly Rockabilly Format. If you think there's not enough of this material don't worry. You can start with the "That'll Flat Git It" Collection and dozens of small labels from 1956 to 1964. Then in 1980 The Stray Cats hit the scene and Rockabilly has been steadily recorded ever since. Please as an Americana Radio Station give St. Louis something we have never had before. A Mostly Rockabilly format. Many thanks for your time. Jim M.

Found KWUL by accident. A happy, happy accident! Sorry, KSHE, you're out and a "real" classic rock station is in.
Best mix I think I've ever heard. Seriously. So few commercials, so few repeats (I swear, KSHE, if I hear Journey, Styx, REO, or Van Halen one more time...).
I'm doing my best to spread the word, and I encourage others to do the same to keep a really good thing going. St. Louis deserves a station like KWUL.

In an act of pure desperation, I turned my antenna around to almost North and started to run through the dial. I just couldn't stand to listen to K-SHE another second. They have lost another long time listener from 1968. Times change I guess.
I picked up your station at about 101.1 mhz. on my old Nikko tuner that came back from S.E. Asia in 1972. A solid 4 out of 5 on my analog meter. Free form, slightly pirate, a lack of blubbering idiots that love the sound of their own jokes. Bless your young hearts. I took a pair of vice grips and busted off the tuning knob.
Let me know if I can do anything yo help your cause. -DOGLiPS Hill 1212 RR # 1 Box # 72 Reynolds County, MO

This radio stations reminds me of the stations I use to listen to in the 70's in Wisconsin when I was a teen. Keep on rocking....keep on doing it right...never go away!

Found you guys by accident. Best mix I've heard in years. Things sound a little rough (momentary dead air, dj's sound level too low), but it actually adds to the "pirate" feel of the thing. I see that the station is in receivership and I suspect you guys are running on a shoestring and just there to keep the dust out of the mikes. Here's hoping that this good thing lasts a little longer. Thanks for the music.

Kind of reminds me of the dearly missed KADI of my teens and 20s, playing below-the-radar and album cuts that Corporate Radio wouldn't touch. I wish the tired old Classic Rock format (yes, you KSHE) would play classic rock artists' NEWER releases instead of the same ol'-same ol' "hits" that are so worn out many have become music beds for corporate TV commercials, background music at senior centers, and the rest are on albums we sold for a dollar at garage sales.
