After all these years, I found Johnny Goyen back on Houston Radio. The Rock Music on KHGV has an excellent variety. My favorites include Eric Clapton, ELO, Eagles, Phil Collins & Genesis, Chicago (Only The Early Songs) Not a fan of Peter Cetera. The group became wimpy in the late 1970's. More favorites, Kenny Loggins, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John (just the fast songs), Jackson Browne (All Of His), Bob Seger, Steel Dan (Mostly everything), REO Speedwagon, Dire Straits, Prentenders, Santana, Steve Winwood, Heart, Huey Lewis & The News, Lynyrd Skynyrd, BTO, ARS, CCR, Van Morrison, Robert Palmer & the great 70's & 80's.
When I'm in the mood for great older stuff, Johnny Goyen is "The Man" Early Sunday Mornings. "Solid Gold Saturday" is another great show.

I LOVE hearing Johnny Goyen on this station. Especially his "Sunday Morning Memories" 6-11AM every Sunday mornings. Fantastic oldies from the 50s & 60s.
I read Johnny Goyen was inducted into The Texas Radio Hall Of Fame in the Class of 2019. Very well deserved. Johnny is my very favorite radio dj.
He was on many AM & FM Houston radio stations on many different formats. Regardless of what music Johnny plays, I listen because of Johnny. He's the best!!!

Love everything about it
It reminds me of the am radio back in the day , when it played all different kind of music, and I like to brag \and yes we have our very own radio station in my neighborhood ... :)
