I've been listening for about a year while I work patrol. it's allowed me to re-acquire my love for classical music. The music allows me to de-compress and attend to writing my reports, without influence from outside, calms my mind,

Why only 3 stars… for the only local “Classical music” station? I was spoiled by the “Classical music” XM advertisement free, radio station, beginning in 2009 when I bought my FJ that came with an XM subscription. I even got a transmitter to broadcast on a radio in my house with a second subscription. The sound was great, and at that time reception for KPAC was very poor (I live on the edge of their broadcast area). The XM cost was minimal… around $60 per year.
KPAC relentlessly begs for money, and there are plenty of constant “advertisements” for their “sponsors”. I’d really rather pay a subscription fee and not listen to the constant begging. Now that I have Starlink, I can get a clear reception of KPAC. Unfortunately, XM became party to all the “Woke Agenda” and pushed it down your throat to the point that I couldn’t tolerate it anymore. KPAC is now beginning to show some of the same, with cultural/political propaganda… which has no place in a station “devoted” to “Classical Music”.

I began listening to KPAC in 1994 while driving to college. The radio in the old truck I drove to school each day would only pick up 88.3 clearly. Slowly I acquired a taste for it, and have been a loyal listener since. It is now my constant companion. Thanks to everyone working to make KPAC such a success!
