Ads go on forever and ever. Same ads again and again, every commercial break is extended way longer than on the radio. I rarely make it through one hour before I give up and turn it off. I will definitely never buy anything they advertise here.
I enjoy Armstrong and Getty, but the number of commercials is excessive and annoying, as it is the same boring ads every day.
Programming is good but I have to be redundant in saying the the commercial structure is beyond annoying for a willing regular listener.
Sort of reminds me of when cable tv was established back in the 70s...
The big advantage to cable tv back in the day was the few extra channels you’d get did not have commercials, they gradually and incrementally started casting commercials. It’s like the ol frog in the pot of water... heat slowly and before said frog knows it, he’s dead in boiling water.
I noticed all along.
Even PBS went commercial.
So I just tune in after the top of hours and after the bottom of the hour and off the radio goes
The programming is first rate -
A & G, Glenn Beck, Jesse Kelley.
The problem is not just too many ads, it’s that they play the same 2 or 3 over and over - well past the point of irritation. I’d sooner give my car away than donate it to Kars for Kids.
Armstrong and Getty are actually five stars, but all the repeat commercials are minus one.
I have been listening since “the Ghoul Pool”. Maybe 30years, if they have been on that long?
Barbara E Haff
I listen until one or the other starts screaming, then it's gone for the day!
I'm almost 36, been listening since 2002. Don't know what else could I listen to when they hang it up.
They've got my mornings off on the right track for many years
I used to listen to A&G from start to finish. Now might listen an hour, to many ADs
Do the ads ever end?
Like listening to QVC with a little radio talk over thrown in. They’re still going….
