I have not listened to ESPN NY since th switch from 98.7FM to 880AM. My car (a hybrid) does not have an AM radio and the app is useless to me. I have to make numerous stops, in the morning and reconnecting the blue tooth 4 or 5 times just adds to an already chaotic commute. I'm wondering how many listeners have been lost. The person that made this decision should be fired.

We lost an iconic radio. I loved 24 hour news whenever wanted to listen it. I just wish the new station WSQH would play 60's music at least for 1 hour just to break up from sports Good Luck WSQH.

I can play the 880 AM (WHSQ) shows on my laptop with FM clarity, no problem. As for my handy SONY AM/FM transistor radio? Not so much. At best, I get grainy, static-dominated reception that harkens back to the days of Radio Free Europe. The reception might be improved in the NYC area, but for this ex-pat, lifetime New Yorker who moved across the Hudson 9 years ago, the switch from ESPN 98.7 FM has proven to be a bummer to this now-retired resident of Somerset, N.J.,L
