I was stick in a back-up on southbound Van Dyke for at least 15 minutes Thursday evening between 6:30 and 7:00. I was listening to WWJ and had time to hear traffic and weather twice. This back-up wasn’t mentioned either time. This wasn’t just rush hour traffic. The traffic was dead stopped. No mention. I thought this was the traffic and weather station. Not this time.

Most people who listen to WWJ 950 do so on a regular basis and know what is coming up. The station’s constant and repetitive “teases” about what is “coming up in 90 seconds, one minute, two minutes, “ etc. is annoying. For example, most listeners certainly know the weather and traffic is coming up at a specific time. We don’t have to be told about this constantly.
