I just turned on WIP and all they were talking about is wether white grapes were white or green. With all that's going on in this city concerning sports, they talk about that. I don't understand how a conversation like that can continue. It's not the first time. They make it harder and harder to listen to this station.

This is the only sports station I listen to, but I am very close to giving up. Aside from a select few, I cannot listen to most of these guys. I like Ike, Hugh, Ritchie and the older hosts, but most of the other guys make me feel like I'm listening to a bunch of fans. If I want to listen to fans talk about sports, I can do that at any bar in the area or the break room at work. What happen to the professionals? Nothing personal. They are funny and seem like nice people but I want professional unbiased conversations from my sports radio. Leave the fandom to the callers/listeners.


Also, way too many commercials.

I like Rob Charry, Rickie Ricardo and Jon Johnson. The other shows I can listen to only in short doses. Definitely too many commercials.

I used to love listening to WIP but most shows are unbearable to listen to. The screaming by the hosts is irritating. Ricky Ricardo is one of the few I never miss because he mostly talks and only raises his voice when something good happens. Tough listening to these guys screaming because they don’t agree with the batting order or the coaches play call
